The company that can assure you of this minimal impact is Oakland Group, as they will draw upon their extensive experience and knowledge to provide you with an air conditioning solution that matches your requirements and unique property – whether you are in the North East or South West.

An installation of anything of these proportions can understandably have some property owners worrying as to whether they will have to call in the help of a property maintenance Swansea company after the project is ‘complete’, however with a fully focused and qualified company such as Oakland Group, this couldn’t be further from the truth. They will take every step available to them to ensure that your air conditioning unit leaves little impact apart from the positive one of cooling those inside and providing a more comfortable workplace.

Oakland Group also have the equipment at their disposal to install everything from the smallest A/C unit to large central station heaters which are made by world-renowned manufacturers such as Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin. The structural impact will of course depend on the size of the air conditioning unit, but with Oakland Group it will be minimal and stress free. Contact them to find out more.

How Does Air Conditioning Work?

Wednesday, May 11th, 2011

The weather is often unpredictable, yet this could have a detrimental effect on the working environment for many offices in the UK. An office which is physically affected by outdoor weather conditions could become uncomfortably warm or contrastingly, too cold. To maintain a healthy and workable environment, many businesses have been seeking to maintain the optimum working environment via air conditioning units from us at Oakland Group. But how exactly do these work?

Simply put, the air within a room is effectively recycled, as the heat within the indoor air is removed and discarded outside, leaving the cool air to be circulated within the room. This process allows the air conditioning unit to offer effective relief for hay fever sufferers in some cases.

So how is the heat drawn from the air? Well, an air conditioning unit consists of three components which are crucial for the effective and efficient operation of air conditioning.  These components are the compressor, condenser and evaporating coil.

The compressor generally acts like a pump. It is controlled by a thermostat which controls the flow of the refrigerant through the air condition system. The compressor then moves the refrigerant to the condenser coil by increasing both the temperature and the pressure.

The condenser coil has a fan attached which draws outside air across the coil. As the compressor passes the refrigerant through the condenser coil, the cool air which passes across the coil absorbs the heat from the refrigerant.

This action causes the refrigerant to change from a gaseous state into a liquid form. The refrigerant in the evaporating coil absorbs any heat from the indoor air in order to return back into it original gaseous format. After the heat is removed, the air is extracted back into the room from which it originated at a cooler temperature.

Air conditioning units use the same principal as the common household refrigerator, in that it uses refrigerant to cool the air already existing inside the space. As experts in air conditioning, the team at Oakland Group can offer professional advice regarding the various types of air conditioning units available. Advantages of Natural Ventilation Systems

Friday, April 8th, 2011

Now that spring is well and truly upon us and the weather outside is warming up by the day, many businesses throughout the UK will be looking at ways to ensure that they keep their premises adequately cool and well ventilated. Opening the windows can help improve the flow of air coming through the office, however the best way to ensure that you have a constant comfortable temperature throughout the day is by installing natural ventilation systems available through us here at Heaters Wholesale.

This form of air conditioning allows air to move around the property freely, supplying each room with an adequate amount of warm and cool air to ensure the temperature stays constant and pleasant. Through natural ventilation, the hot air rises naturally, escaping through installed vents within ceilings, walls and window frames, whilst the cool air is drawn in through the vents.

If you’re looking for a natural ventilation system, there are two forms to consider – wind driven and stack ventilation; both of which are guaranteed to provide your premises with a comfortable environment throughout the year.

Both the wind driven and stack ventilation systems are guaranteed to provide your building with a range of benefits including:

•    Reduction in Energy Costs – it’s estimated that natural ventilation systems can save a property anywhere between 10% and 30% of the building’s energy consumption; which in a time when energy bills are constantly increasing is ever important.

•    Little to no maintenance – due to the system requiring no filters, pumps or fans it requires little to no maintenance; meaning once it has been installed you won’t be paying out for any other costs anytime soon.

Before the hot weather takes its toll on your office or home, why not contact us here at Heaters Wholesale and take advantage of our fantastic natural ventilation systems which will see a comfortable and constant temperature flow throughout your property all year round. For more information surrounding our services, contact us via our online enquiry form.
